Welcome to Blessed Kids Learning Center!

We are a brand new preschool in the heart of Kapolei’s industrial area but we’ve been teaching students about God for 12 years. We were previously known as Blessings from Heaven Preschool. We are here to serve and make a Godly impact in the Kapolei community. 

Blessed Kids Learning Center is located at Kapolei Trade Center. Our school is in 2,600 square feet of space. We have four bathrooms and lots of front parking for families to pick up and drop off their students.

As a preschool, we will take in three through five year old students. In the future we are looking to serve two year olds as well. At Blessed Kids Learning Center one of our goals is to know your child on a personal level because we are a family friendly preschool. We want to make lifelong friendships with all families that attend our school. At school we will have certified teachers and teacher aides. Our school has three learning classrooms and two play areas for our students to stay active. Our school hopes to see your child learning, playing and growing in their faith at Blessed Kids Learning Center.

Blessed Kids Learning Center is a family business with the team having over 12 years of teaching and directing experience.

Meet the Team

  • Pre-school Director/Teacher

    Matt and his wife, Tammie both have more than ten years of teaching experience and still have a passion for teaching the next generations about God’s love while getting them kindergarten ready. Tammie earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Chaminade University while Matt has more than 11 years of preschool teaching & directing experience. Mr. Matt earned an Early Childhood Education Director/Teacher License from Southwestern Oregon in 2007. Together they update the preschool curriculum yearly.

    Mr. Matt is a fun-loving husband, dad, community basketball & volleyball coach and teacher who makes learning exciting, engaging and memorable for his students. He integrates his athletic background into P.E. lessons. His main focus is for his students to know they are loved by God as he teaches them all they need to learn in preparation for kindergarten.

  • Office Manager

    Ms. Kelle will be the office manager. She is the owner of Blessings from Heaven Preschool, where she and Matt as the director, operated it for 12 years as generations of children in Ewa Beach learned about God and were prepared for kindergarten. Now with a leap of faith Ms. Kelle with her son, Matt Bell, hope to serve the Kapolei community as well.

A Message from our Pre-school Director

Hi parents and guardians,

I am Matt Bell, the director/teacher of Blessed Kids Learning Center. Before I start I would love to give honor and glory to my Lord Jesus Christ for allowing me the opportunity to own and shepherd such a unique preschool. I would also like to thank Ms. Kelle Shodahl for working hard at showing me a great example on how to own and run a preschool for 12 years. Her hard work and perseverance has not gone unnoticed because without Blessings From Heaven Preschool Ewa Beach there would be no Blessed Kids Learning Center. Also to her husband, Mr. Kirk Shodahl, thank you for believing in the vision of Blessed Kids and providing the startup funds to get our preschool moving forward.

Blessed Kids Learning Center is a Christian-based and faith filled preschool center where we focus on getting our students ready for kindergarten. As a school we put Jesus first in everything we do. We start our mornings with prayer so our students have the opportunity to learn to pray, which is basically talking to Jesus, to start the day. We also love to teach our students worship songs that have hand and body motions. Worship songs help our students to understand how much God loves them and how great He is to us all.  

As a preschool we highly encourage our students to experience S.A.F.E. learning; which stands for Spiritual, Academic Achievement, Friendship, Excellent & Engaging learning. We want our students to be excited to grow S.A.F.E.-ly.
